From time to time we have vacancies for Education and Residential Care staff.

 

Applicants for Teaching posts need either a recognised State Teacher Training qualification or Waldorf Teacher Training. Ideally they will have both and have several years teaching experience before coming to Philpots.

 

Applicants for Teaching Assistant posts need to be at least 21 years old. They should have an interest in working with children with challenging behaviour and ideally they should have some knowledge of Waldorf education.

 

Applicants for Residential Care posts should ideally hold an NVQIII in Working with Children and Young People (or equivalent). However, successful applicants without a formal child-care qualification will be given training in post. All applicants will need some experience of working with young people, ideally experience of working with those with challenging behaviour. Some knowledge of Waldorf education is preferred.
