No child is rejected on grounds of cultural or religious differences, indeed all are welcomed in order to enhance their understanding of each other. Boys and girls are given equal opportunities to participate in all the activities offered in the school.

The Further Education Course, or Training Course, as it is generally known, caters for young people between 16 and 19 years old. The young people are usually in need of further education in basic skills and independence training within the security of a residential setting, but some are based at the School while attending part-time courses at local Colleges.

Although we are not able to offer special accommodation facilities for severe disabilities, every effort is made to avoid precluding children with specific disabilities – whether physical or sensory – from joining the School if in other respects it can meet their needs. To this end, an Accessibility Plan has been drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act of 2001.
